When you click the Spyware Scan tab, you can choose your scan options. Your choices are:

• Quick scan - Scans only memory and sensitive file locations
• Deep scan - Scans memory, registry, folders and files
• Custom scan - Lets you customize your scan by clicking the check boxes. When you click the Select link, you can choose specific parts of your computer to scan.

The Fingerprints box identifies the traces recognized and when the fingerprints were last updated.
 
The Last Scan box identifies the last run time, the type of scan, and the spyware and traces found.
 
When you click Scan Now, the scan begins. You can watch the progress of the scan or use your computer while the scan is running.  

Note: Click the Cancel scan link if you want to stop the scan.

After the scan completes, click the Change spyware actions link navigate to the Your Spyware page or click another tab.
